I’ve stayed in many many embassy suites throughout three decades. This one by far is THE WORST from janitorial to front desk. There was an issue with my room. It was a “bait and switch “. I was sold on one description for the room and when I got there, they allegedly didn’t have that room for that price. They wanted more money. The staff was incompetent in assigning me a room. I had to move twice. It was like that movie, “Dum and dumber 1 and two”. The blind leading the blind. Maybe it was a cultural issue because they just spoke to me louder thinking I didn’t understand English. As an Ivy League graduate and doctor, I just didn’t understand “stupid “!! The room was dirty and the toilet kept flushing. Nothing really worked. There was hair in the fruit during breakfast. All the food was burnt and over cooked to kill any worms like in a third world country. And there was no “ breakfast to go” as advertised when I booked the room. I’m inclined to call the health department for a surprise visit and shut down this rundown hotel. By the way, the morning chubby staffer can’t read and is very rude; I suspect he’s racist!!! He needs to be fired!!! Spend your good hard earned money elsewhere rather than this dirty racist rundown place.

The staff at the hotel was very nice and accommodating. The hotel itself was about average and showed some wear. I guess you get what you pay for. There was a convention downtown and this was the only place around with affordable rates. For happy hour, you get 2 free drinks from the bar and chips and salsa as a snack. The breakfast is cubed potatoes, scrambled eggs, pancakes, french toast, and the usual assortment of muffins and bagels. You could get one omelet from the omelet station. Coffee and juice were served. Not bad, but it used to be better. The hotel isn't in the best part of town and there are no sidewalks around it. Suffice it to say you won't be going anywhere on foot. At least, you probably shouldn't be. Worth it at about $100/night, but know what you are getting into.

This a good value hotel, but our room was musty and smelled or smoke. The pull out basically has springs poking you in the back, we asked for bedding and towels never got them, but we asked that the room not be cleaned and they did, but forgot the bedding and towels. Breakfast sausage was burnt, breakfast nothing special, and you only get 2 free cocktails at managers reception. Also, saw crickets in the breakfast room. Staff is very friendly though. Location is just ok, there really isn't alot we could walk to. We will pick a different Embassy next trip.

Pleasant staff but disappointing room and parking. Hotel is old and outdated. Room wouldn’t cool properly which made sleeping a problem. Underground parking was not good because of poor lighting and a bunch of huge concrete building supports that you had to navigate around. The elevator security from the parking garage to the hotel was not working. The breakfast area was ok with a large variety of items to choose from. Hilton needs to bite the bullet and spend some money on this hotel.

My husband and I met my sister and niece halfway between Tulsa and San Antonio. We selected Embassy Suites primarily because of the indoor pool. Horrible place all around. 1. When my sister checked in the system was down. My room wasn't ready when I checked in at almost 5pm. 2. No towels in rooms. We were advised we had to call the front desk to get those. 3. Managers Reception, I was advised only 1 of us could get complimentary drinks. I got mine and my husband went to get his and after they poured the beer they said only one person per room gets drinks, bartender dumped the beer, refilled another glass and made my husband pay $6. 4. The place was disgusting. Dirty tables. Crap all over the floors. 5. Trash in elevator that did not get removed for 2 days. 6. This is the real kicker. Pool was disgusting. I feel like I caught a disease by even looking at it. Day 1. There was puke on the floor and trash Day 2 in the morning. Same trash plus some. Slime, mildew, dirt, clumps of hair. Dirty bandaids, food and the pool water was disgusting. Day 2 evening. Same exact state. I am 100% confident we would have gotten a disease of some sort and you couldn't have paid me to get in there or allow my 12 year old niece in. All of this really screwed up our weekend. Instead of being able to utilize the indoor pool, we had to entertain ourselves outside of the hotel which proved to be quite costly. Embassy used to be consistently nice. I am really shocked at the state of this one. Thanks alot for ruining a much needed vacation.
